Things Are Moving Slowly

Another week has come and gone here in Seattle and things are moving slowly. It seems that as we move into this holiday season less and less people are actually home to answer their doors and it's getting colder and colder (hoping to get some of those collapsible earmuffs sometime soon) I still haven't gotten the packages you mentioned, but I'm watching for them like a hawk (we check the mail everyday) aside from the slow work and general lack of investigators we're making great headway with the members and getting them excited about missionary work (they always ask us who we're working with and if they can help) and last night we had a lesson with the Haywoods (member family) and brother Haywood gave us ride home in his Camaro (It's one of the limited edition replicas of Bumblebee from the 3rd Transformers movie (brothers be jealous lol) it was awesome (I took pictures XD and they'll be on the way soon) and he really likes pressin on the gas (426 horsepower) well I hope everyone is well and is psyched about thanksgiving around the corner (I know I am. Hoping to get with a Samoan family. Let the gut busting binge begin) and I hope Kelsey has a great birthday (I bet she saw Catching Fire for her birthday)
 Happy Thanksgiving!

On the Edge

I haven't gotten the root beer or the sweaters, but now that I know it's coming I'm on the edge of my seat with anticipation

Working Through Members

I got the package with the board games right before transfers, but I haven't received any others yet. Sorry I messed up the address I should probably proof my e-mails for errors like that. It's good to hear how things are going back home and thanks for the pics. Things are going well here. We have been doing lessons with members and are making good progress the best way to bring people to the church is by working through members. We have also been working with a few investigators although meeting with them has become harder as thanksgiving draws near. As far as interesting things go not much has happened it's been pretty dull.
So how are things at home is everyone excited for thanksgiving and Christmas? What are the wish lists looking like?
Hopefully I'll have more to talk about and the video logs will be sent soon

Winter Coat - !Check!

Sorry I didn't get to email yesterday it was veterans day and all of the libraries were closed. Not much has changed since the last email. We went to Pike's Place Market and checked out some sights. I made a deal with my companion to let me keep the coat (I'm sketching a portrait of his favorite baseball player) so the winter coat has been taken care of. I also bought some hair clippers recently so I can cut my hair. I have continued making video logs (I'm up to 5 now which is more than could have hoped for lol) I hope everything is going great. Can you send some pics of the goings on (what did everyone wear for Halloween) and do you know when the package is going to arrive? I'm packing a majority of information in my video logs and I'll send them as soon as I can
 Until next week

Been Working Hard

Things are going well here. I got a temporary coat from my companion until I can find one for myself. this last saturday I had my first Seattle wind storm and it was very interesting we saw an uprooted tree and we watched a guy get attacked by leaves (I was laughing so hard that I couldn't even grab my camera) lol. We've been working hard and seeing lots of people. We have one investigator who's progressing very well and we just gave her a triple (she really wanted to read D&C super excited) and we've been doing a lot of walking (I've also discovered that my Dr. Martins are just a half size too big and should not be used for extended periods of walking) We're going to Pike's place again today and we're gonna do some grocery shopping (btw found a Dr. Martins shoestore) and I'm going to get a set of hair clippers (I'd rather not spend $15 every time I need to get a haircut) Oh and yesterday I gained an appreciation for the trees of Washington (their HUGE) when we got caught in a sudden hailstorm and we were a good distance from our apartment (I'll send pics of some of the trees here) That about wraps it up for my week
 Hoping for more excitement
