Tis' the Season!

Tis the season! How is everyone doing? Things are going slower here as the members leave to be with family, but on the plus side we got to go to the temple today and see the new vid XD. We'll get to Skype on Christmas although I don't know when or where yet (just keep it on). So how was the fundraiser? I'm on the edge of my seat with anticipation. The pictures will be on their way I just gotta stop by the post office and they'll be on their way. We got a new investigator this week! His name is Arthur and he's from Kenya. We're super excited about teaching him! It's been a long week, but with the cloud coverage it's staying fairly warm and the car certainly help too ;) I'm gonna make sure I send a Christmas card with my missionary Christmas tree in it (the missionary budget lol)
Hoping to see you next week

Life is Good as a Missionary

Things are going fairly well here although it gets dark at about 5:00 and we don't get to see the sun to often although if the clouds keep the sun covered it's actually warmer out :) We've been doing as much work as we can before everyone disappears for Christmas. Our ward is comprised mostly of grad students. Not much is new other than we got a car for our area (that will help us stay a little warmer as we go around) It's great to hear that the kids are doing great (especially with Z getting hearing aids) and getting a good paying job AWESOME!!! I'm sure everyone is on the edge of their seats waiting for Christmas and I'm looking forward to it too (I'll get to Skype everyone) Life is good as a missionary some of the work is hard, but it's very rewarding. The pics and video logs will be coming soon I just need to stop by the post office and get envelopes and stamps. And HAPPY BIRTHDAY WESLEY!!!
 Till next week

Calves of Steel

Things have been going well here. Well for the most part. We do a lot of walking (at least 10 miles a day) and nobody wants to talk to us :( at the very least they could ask "How are you?" ,but we just get a no thanks or not interested or just a door slammed in our face (but now I have calves of steel XD) Not much has happened since we hit the holidays, but we're still meeting with lots of members and setting a firm foundation for missionary work to come. I hope things are going well on your end of things. We just had transfers and I got a new companion his name is Elder Mackley (I'm still in the same area). Btw I got the packages from the root beer store, but I haven't seen anything form Ashley yet.
A happy birthday to Kelsey and a Happy holidays to all the others
