Oh, I still have to tell you where I'm serving. Let's see the top border for our area is 145th and the bottom is 80th while our west border is the sound and the east is just a few blocks over from the I-5...um how about something more helpful my current residence is on Greenwood Ave N.
I got to go to the temple last Tuesday it was awesome! It's quite a bit bigger than the Nashville temple. I've been taking pictures whenever I can without making it seem awkward. P-days aren't what I had hoped for don't get me wrong, they're great, but one of our mission rules doesn't let us get with other companionships to play basketball or anything. Also I found out from my companion that it might be a good idea to get a board game of some kind because there are certain holidays in which we have to stay in our residence sometimes all day such as 4th of July, Halloween, Nudity day, Christmas day you know, the holidays. Next P-day my companion and I are going to go to the Root Beer Store http://www.therootbeerstore.com/ THEY HAVE SO MANY FLAVORS OF ROOT BEER!!! I just hope I have enough money on my card to get some and I'll need to make sure I send a package of some home (the owners are members and they give missionaries 50% off XD). We have family home evening a.k.a. game night in about half an hour (and it goes till about 8) so I don't have much time left.
I hope everyone is doing well. I'm super excited for Ashley
completing college and I hope Neil can find the job that he's looking for. $1 FOR
A CAR!!! WOW! Talk about being blessed, she must be really happy right
about now. Aubrey loving school, getting straight A's, and getting
advanced on the state tests comes as no surprise; I think in a way she's
like me. Genius.. just without the laziness, procrastination, video game
obsession, arrogance, the Y chromosome, and a few other miscellaneous
XD. Zachary has the makings of being one of the toughest people I'll
ever know with all the physical hardship he's been through when he gets
older he'll just shrug pain off like it's nothing. Who knows what that
boy will be capable of when he's cured. Wesley and Brentley... Keep
practicing that X box game who knows someday you might get better than me
(Arrogance: however unlikely), but don't obsess over it like I did. When Mom and Dad say you need to take a break don't just get off then get
back on. Take a break go read a book. Make sure you keep at your school
studies too, I can't even begin to tell you how important it is to learn as
much as you possibly can. I've only been out here for a month and I have
met people from all walks of life and the ones that have had the most
success and get to live their lives in almost total relaxation are the
ones who worked the hardest in school.
Now let's see words of wisdom...
ah let's quote Boyd K. Packer "True doctrine, understood, changes
attitudes and behavior. The study of the doctrines of the gospel will
improve behavior quicker than a study of behavior will improve
behavior."
Love ya'll bunches,
Elder Casey R. Huguley
